El Tarf is one of the famous Algerian states, located in the far north-east of Algeria and is close to the Tunisian border; It is bordered by the east and to the west by the state of Annaba; to the south it is bordered by the states of Souk Ahras and Guelma, in the north of the state by the Mediterranean Sea.
